The Last of the Bad Men recorded their Debut album, “Nowhere Is Safe” in Vancouver, March 2006.
“Nowhere Is Safe” was released on the Godoy’s own D.H.D label later that spring. The press responded with fervour. Nerve Magazine exclaimed, The Last of the Bad Men “bring forth an offering of apocalyptic punk rock that is fueled by adrenaline and delivered with necessity.” NY Waste magazine wrote “gutter punks with a boot in the right direction.” Absolute Underground said, “About as close to the real deal as you will get.” This was just the beginning.
The Last of the Bad Men toured through out the United States and Canada to support “Nowhere Is Safe” during 2007. The response has been overwhelming as The Last of the Bad Men have taken their unique hybrid of punk rock to sold out venues in San Diego, Long Beach, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Vancouver and everywhere in between. As if that’s not enough, drummer Steve Godoy toured with punk rock legends The Vibrators in 2007 while Deniz Tek toured with Radio Birdman around the globe & was inducted into the Australian Rock n Roll Hall of fame the same year!!
The Last of the Bad Men’s sophomore release, “Ride!” was recorded in Vancouver, January 2008 after a sold out show that same week. “Ride!” will be released on D.H.D. records once again with the bands D.I.Y. ethic worn proudly on their sleeves. 2008 will see The Last of the Bad Men take their unique style of lawless punk rock not only to cities across North America, but across Europe as well.
Join the revolution, say goodbye to the polished turds polluting our airwaves and embrace the last thing that is real, The Last of the Bad Men. |
